The teacher's pet. I can't stand listening to my professor brag on to the guy who sits next to me in my intro to CS class. I get so salty when he skips over me to brag about the "mind blowing" solutions they create when I'm on the same level they are at.

I think I didn't fake laugh hard enough at one of his political jokes so now he wrote me off.

I hated people who kept asking loads of questions during lectures. There were some who genuinely wanted answers and there were some who thought that it was a way of massaging a lecturers ego and somehow made them more memorable but in both cases it's pointless because you can just read about whatever bullshit you wanted to ask somewhere yourself. Grad students were the absolute worst at this because they did it all the time and never asked anything relevant at all.

I fucking hated uni as an undergrad so much and am so glad I'll never have to go back. I've done a post-grad degree which was way more chilling and fun though.

I only ever went to seminars/lectures for attendance. I have a pretty shit attention span (and I never get enough sleep) so I'm never properly paying attention to anything in lectures and I look at my phone to try and keep me awake. It all ends up on blackboard or the info is all available online somewhere in some form anyway, I find lectures to be massively pointless in all honesty.

Anyone whose main form of communication is saying "you know?". I've had to transribe dozens of hour long interviews and focus groups of undergrad students and a good 90% of what they said consisted of "umm", "like", and "you knows". Call me autistic, but they basically communicated nothing in the hopes you somehow found meaning in their non-communication.

i hung out with the physics kids when i was majoring in physics.

they would spend all fucking day shitting on every other major.

eventually i switched into geography cuz i just couldn't handle it, i realized i had been lying to myself for 3 miserable years and i sucked at physics

they all mocked me mercilessly, like beyond harmless teasing, really cruel stuff.

i now have a real job with salary and benefits and all of them (except one) now work bullshit wage cuck jobs, one in a clothing store, one's a line cook, one dropped out later to be an actor (but she was a girl so that made her "brave")... the only guy that didn't was actually the only one who didn't brainlessly mock other majors for no reason. now he's getting paid dickloads of money to simulate black hole collisions or some shit

anyway the point is humbleness is almost always a sign of real ability and talent. people who shit on other majors are almost always the bottom performers of their department
