I understand that. I have been abused myself. It made me a shitty person for awhile. I changed though. I changed because I wanted something different out of life than looking back on my past misery and accepting my current failures.

Anyway I'll tell you where I draw the line. A good robot hates what they've become. They wouldn't wish it on anybody. A shitty one wants this to be their secret club and spends all their time bickering about how other people have it so much easier than them. It's like this anon. I don't wish any misery on anyone. Unless perhaps that misery might make them think about what they are doing wrong. I see nothing wrong with calling an asshole an asshole. They might not know they're being one. Before I came to this board I didn't understand a lot of the fucked up things I was doing. This board made me hate myself. It also inspired me to stop being a person I hate.

Not everyone can change anon. Do you think having a blonde qt gf would have fixed Elliot Rodger's mental state? Not everyone here is the same. We're all fucked up but how fucked up depends on the individual person. Some people here are probably future serial killers and nothing I could ever say to them would stop them. I try though anon. I try so hard to reach everyone here I can and be as nice to them or tough on them as I possibly can. Whatever seems appropriate for each given situation I encounter. I feel a responsibility to do so because I took something away from this place. I want to give it back.

I challenge the ideology of this board in my spare time. I constantly get called a nigger and told how people want me to die. But I don't care. If I reach one person it was worth it. But I know some are too far gone. Some are mentally or physically incapable of change. I feel for them. But some are happy to be hateful disgusting people and would never want to change. I don't feel at all for them even of they are only perpetuating the cycle of abuse.

Objectively untrue. Everyone changes even from moment to moment. Every instance of our lives brings change. Maybe you're looking at the big picture, that robots should try to become rich chads with loving wives and have kids.

I'm looking at the small picture. Because that's where change starts. Get robots to brush their teeth. Get them to stop storing piss bottles. Encourage them to make a friend. If you truly want change, that's where you will find it.

No one was ever convinced of something by being called a hateful disgusting waste of oxygen. Especially not someone in pain. Just showing them that they can make even the tiniest, insignificant change to themselves can create a snowball effect that will fundamentally change their lives. Telling them they are hopeless will do the opposite.

People like to pretend it's some support board where people with problems can come get help but most of the advice is nasty, it comes from people with ulterior motives. Be they bitter misogynists who want to convert you to their ways or just garden variety trolls. You can pretend everyone here is good or could become good if I told them how to live my way but it's not true at all. I have to be careful in what I say to who because not everyone here is going to be receptive. Sometimes I have to dispense advice. Other times I'm poking holes in somebody's flawed logic and playfully insulting them. You don't treat the schoolyard bully the same way you treat your best friend who gets beat up by both him and his dad. There is no one size fits all approach to this crusade and unfortunately there are a lot more people in my way than there are who are receptive to what I say. I have years of experience and a deep understanding of what is happening on this board though. Nobody here is hurting my fee fees.
