>Target creature gets +3/+3 and trample until end of turn
>Target creature gets +X/+X until end of turn, where X is your devotion to green.
>>36346625
Jesus fucking Christ that's op, thank god I quit MtG long ago.
>>36346761
Not really. It requires you to build monogreen devotion to be effective more than Giant Growth. It would be op if it gave trample.
>>36346558
ok then
what did OP mean by this?
>and trample
one job
>>36346761
MtG is a massive clusterfuck of pay2win and powercreep. There's retarded combinations that make people win on turn 1.
>>36347168
>It requires you to build monogreen devotion to be effective
Thanks Sherlock.
Point is, it's got stupid potential in the mid- to lategame. You can get someone really huge really fast, unexpectedly.
>>36347340
I know, I pulled a 2nd turn win at a tournament once, while my opponent had exactly one basic land out.
>>36346558
oh, yeh, attack into this guy ;)
>>36347359
Mate that card requires you to make it to turn 4+ to be effective. That's not how long a game of MtG lasts.
Should I play magic the gathering or hearthstone
I've never played either
>>36347340
>powercreep
>new cards are all trash
you w0t
>>36347417
magic is nice, start out with magic duels on steam
i've never played earthstone but into magic for over a year
>>36347434
Will I make friends if I play magic
>>36347417
Hearthstone is for robots, MtG has to be played IRL. MtG is the better game though.
Netrunner is better than both.
>>36347359
Craterhoof behemoth >>>>> aspect of hydra
>>36347453
irl, maybe
friday night magic runs every friday at most hobby shops with magic, and you can also go to the prerelease for the new set next weekend
>>36347417
I enjoy both but would actually recommend Yi-Gi-Oh Duel Links if you're looking for a good casual experience. Hearthstone is great for short pick up and play sessions, and is easy to get into, but unfortunately is really lacking in PvE content and if you don't want to get destroyed in PvP you have to spend a lot of money. Magic has similar problems and in certain ways is even more expensive, but it being a mostly physical, in person experience (allowing you to sell and trade your cards) somewhat offsets that. Of course that comes with it's own issues such as limited access to when you can play, and also the players leave a lot to be desired.

Back in my day I could stall virtually any T1.5 deck into a 30 turn grind. Swords to plowshares, Vindicate, Hymn to Tourach, Pernicious Deed, Sinkhole, that's how I rolled.
>>36347495
>8 mana
Oh Jesus...
>>36347495
iona> craterhoof
>>36346558
can i use it on my bepis?
>>36347546
Decks that play craterhoof have insane ramp and get it down t3-4
>>36347561
See above
>>36347611
can get into play on turn 1, swamp into dark ritual into entomb into animate dead
>>36347611
>>36347643

>>36347611
>needing ramp when you can T1 Iona
>>36347711
chancellor of the annex?
>>36347711
also, $80 meme card
guturall responce?
>>36347711
Oh boy I loved dropping first turn distress and seeing my opponents visible distress as he debated FoWing it vs getting FoW discarded.
>>36347711
>Implying a deck that has ramp for Craterhoof runs enough blue to justify FoW
shig
>>36347814
>implying the deck, if in the format, won't be running FoW
>>36347846
Not every legacy deck runs force my man
>>36347928
besides goblins and elves nigga
all the top decks are blue to some degree, see miracles
>>36347960
>miracles
It would be a shame if something is gonna happen to that deck.
>>36348032
>there's an answer to everycard or combo :^)
Kill yourself.
>>36347960
ANT, D&T, Eldrazi are some big decks that don't run force last I remember
I just like to play pauper. It's cheap, competitive and loads of fun with cards you normally wouldn't look into. Also, gitaxian probe and brainstorm are 100% legal. It's fun to look at new commons in a set instead of expensive rares.
>>36348073
>t. miracuckles
>>36348334
If I wanted to get into pauper is there a good resource for what decks/strategies
are common in the format?
>>36346625
>this card in monogreen
>>36348522
>expecting to have more than 5 creatures out in less than 5 turns
>>36347417
If you're not a poorfag, then play MtG.
Otherwise play Eternal card game (free on steam).
HS is fine too, but requires a lot of griding and is not as fun to play IMO.
>>36347491
>MtG has to be played IRL
MTG Online is very much a thing.
