I like D&D4e's Assassin class. Somewhat like a rogue, except that use dark magic to do edgy shit like create shadow blades, move in and out of shadows and skate around. I also like the idea of a battlemind: a psion who uses his abilities to create forcefields so that he's more or less invulnerable. Then punches the shit out of people while their hits bounce of his shields.
