You make simplifying patterns of reality all the time and see causal connections where there are none. This is all assuming you can actually draw meaningful conclusions from what people claim to see in ink blots. There are plenty of skeptics in the field who doubt its credibility. Yes I am reducing it because that is all it is in reality, looking at ink and pretending you see a pattern at the urging of a psychologist. And of course I don't analyse the world perfectly, I can only use what information my senses provide me, but if you're self-aware enough you can realise some of the tricks the brain plays on you and avoid them, as in this case by simply seeing the pictures for what they are, ink stains.

You could make the exact same claims about this test as about dream analysis. Analysing the dreams of people to search for hidden meanings and mental problems they might have. But people don't really take that seriously, yet somehow people seeing dragons or some shit in ink is apparently some secret doorway into the mind.
