Usually if you want to teach past elementary school you get a bachelors in Secondary Education with a focus on whatever subject you want to teach, that will land you in a high school classroom. Because I got an Associates of Applied Science in Electrical Automation. Due to my severe anxiety, and autism, I struggled my way through it. Even though my family had the means they refused to help me pay for school which forced me to work 30 hours a week in addition to the 25 hours a week I spent in class for 2 years.

Again, due to my autism and shit, I forgot most of the stuff that I "learned" in the program. I was only able to retain the knowledge long enough pass the test, but I soon forgot. I did all the work, and graduated with a 3.6gpa, but I still feel like a fraud in the field due to me forgetting everything.
Now I'm going back for a B.S. in IT. I'm hoping that my autistic nature is better suited for general IT work. I'm also praying to god that I can remember the material, otherwise I'm gonna off myself.

pretty crazy, the last 3 years have gone so much faster than that same time period during high school it seems.

never failed a subject but didn't exactly do amazing academically either, never joined any societies or campus groups because here in Australia at least they just seem like a massive fake BS thing just to get titles to put on your CV and a way for the "inner circle" group to just milk yearly membership $$ from the kids that only bother turning up once or twice before quitting out of realizing it's shit (like me).

pretty uneventful Uni experience overall but I loved every second of it, only going into class 3 afternoons a week, getting to spend so much time at home relaxing in the sun and those long monday morning sleep ins made it all worth it. I had to do a whole range of BS subjects along the way but a lot of the content I covered really was interesting.

18 days left for me. I'm fucking terrified, to be honest. I'll be NEET for the first time in my life in 18 days and there are so many people expecting me to go straight into the workforce that I just want to curl up into a ball and forget the world.

On some level, the expectations for me to get a job just makes me so incredibly bitter. My family and peers are always bitching about how much they hate their jobs, and are generally tired/fatigued from their jobs and yet they expect me to be excited to start working. I want to work, if only for the money, but fuck me if the whole system doesn't seem like "I suffered so you should too," crabs in a bucket if you're not the .001% of society.
