Theres a lot more to it than that but ultimately I just don't care anymore, my country is dead and so is my patriotism. I really don't have any drive left.

I have an extremely stable government job.

However stable it might be I'm also barely getting paid, I'm making something like 700 every two weeks, and can barely survive with that and the 400~ I make from my other two jobs. I'm also getting extremely stressed out because my boss hinted that if I start taking days off she would try to fire me, and I've been sick for the last month and barely able to stand on my feet without feeling like I'm going to pass out. Every other job I've tried to get has either denied me or offers much less money with worse hours.

I'm honestly about to kill myself because I'm overworking myself, I can't even go to college because I work so much.

I've been getting increased wages gradually but they're not keeping up with cost of living in my city. There's also the fact that I had to leave low-income housing because my wages got too high, which actually resulted in me making less money despite a higher income since I had to seek out a more expensive apartment. idk what kind of factory you work in but i work in a stamping plant making seatbelt parts, and i work 8-8.5 hour shifts, get paid $22.50/hour and have all the overtime I want. Employers. I've applied for 5 years now. Even people with shit-tier work don't want me at 24 years and not one hire. I even have an associate's in accounting and it hasn't done much good so far. I got into a temp agency but they haven't had work I can get to without taking a bus for 3-4 hours one-way. My town's bus only runs for so long, and if I can't get to it in time I am stranded about 13 miles down a highway from my hometown. I'd get a driver's license but we can't afford another car, dad had to sell the one I was supposed to practice in. I do not have friends that could nepotism my way in the door, or anything else really since they don't exist.

i find it hard to believe nepotism gets them unrelated jobs. i know "its who you know not what you know", but is nepotism and connections really enough to get you a job completely unrelated to anything youve ever done before?

maybe im just overestimating how difficult jobs are to really learn. maybe 90% of jobs are basically just "learn as you go"

the therapists see and treat patients

the nurses administer medications

etc

i have absolutely no experience in an office setting, where i assume this kinda shit happens all the time, with all this downtime to screw around

althogh i only work as an assistant in the hospital, which is part of the reason why i hate the job i have, because i dont really have a "defined role" and a lot of my time is spent making up or finding things to do, which i guess is what causes this "everyone fucks around" thing i see in offices
