You'd need six question if you always exclude half the cards with each question because the next highest exponential of 2 greater than 52 is 2^6/64.

If you lay out the question in a way that separate the cards into three piles with one pile getting a "yes", the other getting a "no", and the other getting a "no response"/"head explodes"/"can't answer" you can get the answer in four questions because 3^4 is 81 which is greater than 52.

It's impossible to determine what card it is with only four questions, let alone one. Even if you could come up with four perfect questions which split the remaining possibilities in half, e.g. is it red, is it a heart, is it between ace and seven, is it between ace and four, you'd still be left with multiple possibilities. So since it's not an actually solvable riddle, what the fuck is the point of guessing a random card some stranger on the internet picked out of a deck.
