Why ARE normies so obsessed with it?

Star Wars was never that good desu. Even the originals are overrated.

Coming from a sci Fi fan, it's pretty obvious. It's one of the few franchises that lets you still be a hip normie while also allowing you to pretend that you are also in feel culture without isolating yourself.

Doesn't mean Star Wars is bad, its just that perfect blend of normie blockbuster that brings the big bucks and "nerdy" shit that makes people feel special. This gets you that cringy video where people praise it like crazy cause it's as nerdy as normie shit can get.

They are trapped in a cycle of consumption. Money forces you to watch whatever you can or else you feel you have wasted your dollarydoos, but when an individual's only motivation to consume is desire and interest, you will watch remarkably fewer films and be much more content for it.

I'll give you an example. The movie store, when it existed, would have people go there for movie night. They would browse for twenty minutes or more trying to decide what they want to watch. But that's backwards. They decided to watch first, but had no idea what. The logical order would be to decide what to watch and then watch it. You can see this today even, when you scroll through Netflix searching for something because you are going about it backwards.

That's not how I operate. I only watch something if I want to watch it. As a result, I do watch less. But I am happier. And wealthier.
