I like IHOP... I've never eaten at a Waffle House.

i am compelled to frequent the waffle house every now and again through my identification with the state in which i live

this state possesses more than like 3x its neighbors waffle houses combined, or something even larger, takes me about 15 minutes drive to reach so much as a gas station, but i can find probably 4 waffle houses within 20 minutes

never been to an i-hop

Waffle House breakfasts are a Mother's Day tradition in my home because we both enjoy them and it's usually not too crowded while IHOP has lines out the goddamn door

waffle house is what it is: readily-available 24 hour diner food. you are required by law to not give a shit about anything as soon as you enter waffle house and for your entire stay the ambience is one where you are completely free of judgment. this is only possible because everyone else who is in waffle house also knows they're in a waffle house so nobody has any right to feel superior to anybody else

i've seen a guy literally pass out on the floor of a waffle house, come to, sit down, and get served by employees who literally did not mind at all that he was at david hasselhoff levels of drunkenness

if your bill at waffle house is "too expensive" you should consider ordering different stuff. you should also consider that they bus your table, so you're paying some for service which you usually don't need but can be nice if you are wasted
