My parents stopped giving a fuck about my grades after I almost failed 4th, 6th, and 7th grade. I let then down so much and brought them so much disappointment that they decided it wasn't worth it to invest so much of their energy.
They stopped controlling my life since they simply gave up on me, kek. They also barely got on my little brothers case either.
Now my parents brag about their parenting techniques to all their friends as if they intended for things to happen the way they did
