Can you get brain damaged from being depressed for too long? I know for sure I don't think or do things as clearly as I used to be able to. I'm at a loss for words in my mind alot, where I just have trouble thinking. Sometimes my brain feels foggy too.
Also, I am far, far too young for this. I mean *far* too young.

yeah depression and especially anxiety are predictors for dementia in old age
I dunno but it feels that way
Change inspires more change, right?
However I also think that things can seem more permanent and dire than they actually are while depressed. Sometimes we become unreliable narrators.

if you so integiegent whyare you depressed
Yes, depression does harm the brain, but that might not be the only cause. Do you use any drugs/medication? Do you have a shit diet? What is your daily routine?

Tone down on processed fats and sugars, they are very bad for your brain. Eat more whole grains, fat fish(omega 3), unsaltes nuts. Try working out(if you weren't before) and try learning as much as possible (things that stimulate the brain) and stop watching cancerous entertainment
