Generally speaking, that should do it. Unless you're school has a long history of being dominant in a certain sport, then you have to be the best player on that team.

Also, be a pseudo-intelectual, help your friends in subjects they're bad at, read books and shit, talk about many subjects in an ''I know this shit'' way and about ''how interesting they are'' before teachers even comment on them, all of that jazz.
