Question.

I'm a chronic insomniac, I generally manage to semi-sleep around 2 to 4 hours each night. Assuming there's some degree of cognitive impairment because of this, anyone have any idea of an estimate adjustment to make? I'm not too familiar with IQ.

im 100% with this anon. it's like standardized testing, plenty of smart people receive low scores due to the way the tests are structured. i got pretty average scores on the SAT, but 97th percentile on the ACT overall. i also got really good scores on the GRE, but the major factor was that I took the Kaplan course on _how to take the test_ - not by innately knowing the material. other than physiological impairments, time and experience are really the only critical factors in learning anything. the average person can definitely learn dense, relativistic physics or something similarly complicated if they have genuine motivation.
