The thing is the current 'you' certainly doesn't contain the knowledge to create the cosmos, so it wouldn't be accurate to say that you're somehow essentially God, are that 'you' WERE God at some point in the past.

It seems to me that I've emerged out of the universe, almost out of nothingness, that I'm evolving towards solidity or greater self-awareness or something.

So perhaps in the future we'll all basically 'become' God.
