bots, what the hell do you guys do for lunch? i can't cook, i either burn it or undercook it. i only eat a shitload of take out, i'm too autistic to get up and cook for my self when i'm hungry.
Cooking is learned over time. Watch more food network. If you burn or undercook things you need more practice. You should be practicing everyday but our generation is used to ramen noodles and easy shit recipes when we should be learning more every day instead of getting take out.

how does this help? i look for recipes online and it doesn't really help because i never remember to buy the ingredients when i go shopping and i'm too afraid that i'll fuck things up and i also don't like a lot of things so i rarely try anything new. i feel like cooking shows would be even less useful than reading recipes because you would have to write down the recipe. what do you learn from these shows?
not OP, by the way, just someone who only started cooking regularly in the last year.
>too autistic to cook
But cooking is literally following recipes with specific step-by-step instructions. It's like an autist's dream.

start simple, write a list of the ingredients you need, make sure you have all the tools required for your recipe
I'm not a cook by any means but I can make beans and rice, oatmeal, eggs, pasta, etc... simple and cheap shit that a NEET can afford, and it wasn't hard to learn how. As long as you can cook a decent enough variety to keep you healthy you don't have to worry about fancy stuff if you can't do it.

what do you make?
