I'm eight months into a relationship that has turned surreal. Three months in, he cheated on me on Christmas night and something snapped inside me. So the anonymity here would let me open up about whatever shitty or sincere thing I'd usually keep to myself.
Sometimes not even thinking anything of it, something I'd say would spark up a conversation with a level of connection I rarely ever get.

Though I guess relating to some feels, liking the same things, and offloading whatever shitty pasts the both of you had isn't a real connection with someone because each time things would turn sour.
