Asphyxiation is so easy that people do it accidentally. 30 seconds of discomfort and you're unconscious, a couple minutes later you're brain dead. You can literally tie a belt around your neck and a doorknob and sit down and die.

Not really, you don't have to actually hang from it, just enough to cut off blood flow. Also, 30 seconds of discomfort seems worth it. Alternatively, snort or plug or shoot a bag of heroin and you'll be dead within a minute or two.

I've known blind dudes who killed themselves doing this. It's super effective.

Be sure to drink and smoke a lot beforehand so you'll be too tired and sleepy to fight the survival instinct.
