Video games represent the biggest chunk of all the things I've voluntarily spent time on, except possibly 4chan. I'm still bad at them.

What vidya? Maybe the kind you're playing is not just the one you can get better at: from experience, I know that driving games are too hard for me, as is anything too fast paced.
I'm terrible at games, but I never have motivation to play them, so the couple times a year I do play them is pure force. I wish I could just enjoy them.

I loved video games most of my life but i've lost interest this year. I played a bit of kotor a few months back but other than that nothing. I think i'm over gaming. I didn't see it coming either.

MUH VIDYA
Fuck off, loser.

FPS and strategy. I'm too much of brainlet for strategy, my reflexes and spatial ability are too poor for FPS.
I still enjoy them, but it's odd, like someone with no musical ability who has a passion for playing piano.
Even if you were good vidya is a waste of time and a fleeting experience
Better to stop

Well, if you enjoy them, what is the point of bothering trying to improve? I really wish I could think like that, as my enjoyment from games is heavily influenced by my success at it, to the point a bad streak of games can really make me sad.
What kind of strategy? Some are a little more welcoming than others.
Or maybe you can try to find a FPS-type games that is slower pace.
Do you play fps on ps4 anon?

Civ IV, been playing many years now.

Hmmm...Never played Civ games (inb4 frenzy)
And what kind of FPS? If you find that FPS such as CoD, Battlefield or even CS is too fast, it's 100% normal.
