You should read Meditations by Marcus Aurelius. It's one of my favorites, also "The Chemist" by Paulo is another great one that'll raise your spirits (I recommend this one even more because it's an actual story, also it's a pretty short book but really nice).

Now im slowly turning my life around. Got a good job in my field and not depressed anymore.
