Why does everyone say season 3 was when the series was first starting to get good? Kakyoin was literally a piece of cardboard with no emotional traits whatsoever. Battle Tendency was better.

Part 3 is WAY worse than Part 5, and no one realizes it because "muh stands". Part 3 has shit tons of plot holes, flat characters, the worst appearance of the worst main villain of the series, and an ending asspull bigger than any other part. Part 5 at least had great minor antagonist battles and likable protagonists. I dislike Part 1 most obviously, but in terms of real JoJo parts, Part 3 is the worst. It goes Part 1<Part 3<Part 5<Part 2<Part 8 so far<Part 6<Part 7<Part 4 for me.

No one says this. It is the most marketable series though because it's at this point it went from being a second rate Fist of the North Star to its own thing.
