Nah, I meant using it as a template, though outright lying works as well. I've always found the available resume templates fairly limited, and also fairly region specific (resumes tend to look a bit different here in Australia than they do in the US)

If you get sent a whole bunch of resumes you should be able to see what makes a good resume for someone in your field and also what the competition is like in terms of skills and experience

Also google what an adult's resume should look like. You should not NEED a cover letter (most USA jobs don't require them anymore but it doesn't really hurt) and a good rule of thumb is that your resume should be as short - but concise as possible (max 2 pages)

Also avoid the usual redundant bullshit like "good at team work" etc
