High school in America fucking sucks though.

Yeah, it may have a nice A E S T H E T I C but beyond that it's incredibly dull. They do a bunch of gimmicky shit like pep rallies, homecoming, prom, and talent shows to make you think you like it but I can see through it. Unless you're a Chad or Stacy it's a terrible experience. Furthermore it gets incredibly monotonous especially if your school doesn't do block scheduling (A/B days)

I would rather re-do all 6 years of elementary school than redo 1 semester of high school.

It was due to the small number of buses that had to service all public elementary, middle, and high schools, so they staggered the starting and ending times. High school started and finished the earliest.

Don't ask me, not sure where that anon lived in VA, but we had plenty of buses in the part I lived. Only time I remember starting school that early was in Middle School, but it was a new Middle School and was compiling the vast majority of the county at the time, so we started at 7:30 and got out at 2:30, rather than 8:30-3:30.

Dunno though whats the deal with low amounts of buses in other areas though if that is a thing.
