There are a shit load of layers in life that only come from living experience.
A lot of it is worth experiencing.
Having a down period in your early-twenties, late-teens, is perfectly normal.

The average lifespan may be ~80 years, but that doesn't mean you'll live nearly that long; you could very well be old at 18. But you should never commit suicide, just let life happen.
