Does anyone else pick the skin near their fingers without thinking about it? I've done it for so long, I block it out of my mind when it happens, kind of like breathing. I hate it so much, it makes my fingers look absolutely awful. Not doing it is worse, though. God, I wish I was normal.

Same here anon. The other day I chewed my thumb real bad right before a piano class and I literally bled onto the piano, thankfully no one noticed and I had my handkerchief with me. Teacher asked me why my thumb was bandaged up and I told him I slammed it in a door.

The worst thing i do is bite at the skin in my mouth. Mostly with my front teeth biting my lower lip meat. I know it makes me look like a real tard but i do it without thinking every single time.
I also rub my feet together and rub my fingers together.

I bite my nails until I run out of nail, then I move on to the skin around my nails. My fingers are seriously fucked up form years of this. It's a nervous habit & I'm always nervous
