>>36070906
too fat
embarrassing and possibly damaging to my knees
so I go for long walks instead
I tried, but I felt like I'm gonna pass out after (literally) 500m.
>>36070906
hiking is more fun
>>36070906
because it's for poor people who cant afford to swim year round
I want to be able to walk when I'm older and not ruin my ankles
>>36071175
How fast are you running
>>36071193
>m-muh moniez!

My knees are pretty weak, they hurt after running for like 10 minutes.
tfw not even fat
I used to run but I can only go for a few miles before stopping from either boredom or being tired. Four or five at most. Also I was getting too skinny. So glad I started lifting instead.
>>36071203
No idea, but it wasn't really fast.
>>36070906
if you're gonna do it, don't overdo it unless you're a beta bitch boy.

Try running until you are tired, then walk for a few minutes, and then run again etc
>>36070906

If you want to travel short distance, you walk; if you want to travel long distance, you drive. In public spaces running is seen as impolite and unnecessary activity unless you are in a park or track. Therefor to run one must run for running's sake, which reduces it to a mere fiat.
The happiest moments in my life were the ones where for a few seconds I had a genuine excuse to run, not for exercise or hobby, but purely as a means to an end, truly using my body the way it was meant to be used.

>tfw easily walks for almost seven hours straight but cant run for a full minute
>>36071313
tfw too smart to run
>>36070906
it would fuck up my knees :( do you want me harm :(
I used to run, but my shins started to hurt most likely because I had shitty shoes.
>>36071175
Because you need to slowly build up stamina. Look up "couchpotato to 5K" and do that program.
>>36071261
That sounds good, but I'm still not sure if testosterone affects hair at all. I don't want to lose my hair, it's already thinning, but I reckon testosterone could perhaps improve other aspects of my life.

I have a permanently damaged ankle after I sprained it years ago, running for longer than a minute makes it burn up
>>36070906
Riding bike > running
>mfw by the time you run a kilometer I'm another town over

Question about building stamina
Sometimes when I stand up or move around, it's hard to breathe. I can walk and run and stuff, but I feel like I don't have stamina.
Would building up this running stamina fix this breathing stamina issue?
>>36071294
stop running on sidewalks or other hard surfaces, do your stretching, and get a pair of good running shoes.

I have permanent damage from both my knees, from running.
>>36070906
I ran alot when i was under18, now i try to just run short HIIT and do cycling for longer distances. Running over 8 km is NOT worth it in the long run.
Remember to stretch, work on mobility, posture, proper foot landing placement, using hands etc............
