Nope, I don't exactly know how many years but this didn't use to bother me, I've grown sick of it over the past couple years. I've watched a couple anime (like Akame ga Kill which is really dramatic) but now it annoys me how overtly dramatic they are being. Don't know why, I just prefer a more sombre tone and more subtle acting now. Maybe it'll be diffrent again in 5 years.
