Death is endlessly fascinating to ponder. I have mixed feels about it. I look forward to it, but im afraid too. I dont have what it takes to suicide, and i dont want to anymore anyway. But still i get excited thinking about it. And im nearly always thinking about it. I hope theres something to look forward to after death, but i guess nonexistence is ok. I hope nature allows me a gentle death.

There cannot be a world without a perciever, the idea of nothing is that which is without perception if it can be percieved it can then be described and cannot be nothing. The will of existence even after the human race is killed will continue to do what it did to bring us here you have no say in that because you are apart of the endless struggle of the will projecting itself in a material world. Not to say that the next thing that percieves the world will be "you" but in a sense everyone is you because we are just nature observingand interacting with itself.

There's a scientific article on ncbi if you want to read about a hypothesis of the origin of life. Essentially, DNA transcribes RNA which translates into proteins. However, the prebiotic Earth may have had conditions that would have allowed the creation of RNA molecules which would have been able to replicate themselves. At that point, evolutionary processes would have selected for molecular patterns that replicate.
