Have you ever seen or heard about that movie Truman Show? It's about a kid who is born as an international TV star as part of a project. He is raised on an island that itself is inside of a massive structure that acts as a studio and control center. Everyone in his life are actors and there are cameras everywhere & broadcasting his life 24/7.


It's kind of like that with Chris except he's badly autistic and acts like a cartoon character. He only started uploading videos and his cartoons when he was like 25 but he had also recorded videos of himself as a teen and kid on VHS and later uploaded those as well, as well as loads of personal pictures from when he was younger.

Then he started with "Captain's log, Stardate etc" videos almost everyday and it was a nonstop parade of trolling and IRL shitposting.


For me it's also the internet culture that's around him (legion-era anonymous, encyclopedia dramatic back when it was good) that's even more interesting than Chris himself.

In my country things are a little different but I was in the equivalent of community college for a while. They offer degrees in things like web design or music production and yeah a lot of times they would let anyone in and give you a passing grade even if your work and projects were barely passable.

Here it's because it's government-funded and the more people are enrolled in a program, the more that the school receives. it barely cost me anything at all to go there. In America I assume it is the opposite where they are happy to take people's money who pay 20k$ a year because government gives no money to schools.
