I think I'm too autistic for this. Is it hard? How does it work? Do you just call the nearest dispatcher and tell them how many/from address/to address?
What can go wrong?

Just get a fucking uber, you won't have to call anyone just press buttons on an app

I'm in Yurop, I think uber is illegal here.

Just call and ask to be picked up at your current address. You will tell the actual driver where you want to go not the dispatcher.

This. I never used taxis for the same reason but then came Uber to save the day, it's like ordering pizza on the internet versus on the phone. Thank you technology for making being an autist more comfy
"Hey can I get a cab to (your address), thank you."
Literally all you have to say

I think I will make it, Anons.
"Hey can I get a taxi to 'address' "
"Sure it'll be there in x"
"Thanks"
Tell the driver where you want to go when you get in the taxi.
Ask him how long he's been doing the job and the craziest shit he's seen on the job.

Are Taxi drivers like this? I'm in Austria and unlike in New York the are usually armed here.

heh, I live in a small city in Ontario.
understandable in NY tho.
I'd almost prefer not feeling obligated to make small talk.
