What subreddits are actually decent? I know Reddit as a site is pretty much cancer but are there any subreddits worth reading? 4chan is blocked at work but Reddit is not.

Use a proxy. You likely won't be able to post, but you can still read.

This isn't really an option unfortunately. I don't have the IT authority to do that and would get fired over it.
They really don't care if I surf the web between assignments but I have to follow the rules.

Pretty much the more general the topic of a subreddit the shittier it is. On the other hand if you find a niche, small subreddit with people who are interested in the same shit you are there is a chance it will be decent.
Also Reddit is good for finding amateur porn especially if you pair it up with metareddit.

I meant a webproxy. How is that any different from using any other website?

>I have to share a board with jackasses from reddit who should kill themselves for the good of humanity.
r/pussypassdenied
r/ChoosingBeggars/
r/TumblrInAction
I never comment on any of them, but they are amusing to browse.
On a much more work-friendly track, r/AskReddit/ usually has some interesting bullshit to read if you're worried about someone finding out what a fuckshow you are.

My web traffic is monitored by the IT department and using a web proxy to circumvent their rules is a violation of my work code.

/4chan/ on reddit, its the closest you'll get to the real thing without dying of cancer

I frequent Voat. It's more politically conservative
