I like cars, and street racing, so it is practically the only anime in that realm besides Wangan Midnight. However, the plot is pretty terrible. Tons of plot armor and the stupidest ending. Why did Takumi never race Ryosuke again, even though they had both been training their asses off through Project D? Why is the finale some random kid who is just a mirror of Takumi?

I've watched first stage a million times because it is so comfy and nostalgic. Most of the rest of the series is okay but loses its charm.I also like the one extra episode which gives a glimpse of mako and sayuki's tits
