It seems like every few weeks I'll get obsessed with some subject and end up spending hours and hours reading about it and researching a future purpose for the next thing I feel like I have to have. Often for things that I know logically will not bring any real improvements or happiness in my life, such as spending $100 for a keyboard that won't type any better than a $1 keyboard I'd get from a Good Will.
How can I just be happy with what I have and save my money for when I really need it?

Think about your purchases. Understand that buying a new anime figurine isn't going to make you feel happy?
who cares do you really have anything better to do?

What's this Good Will you speak of?

Well, I've often thought that instead of spending my money on things perhaps I should spend it on occasions, like going to see my friends who live over an hour away much more often. Although I mentioned I am a consumer, I'm also a poorfag (what a coincidence) and don't have the money for gasoline to get around much.
Maybe I would be better off to just spend the money on gas and socialization.

It's a thrift store. You can usually find old rubber membrane keyboards there for a dollar.

Get disciplined. If you have creative hobbies that eat up enough of your time you'll want to waste hours like that less. It's not the worst habit to have if you can just condense all that research down to like 30~ minutes or so. High quality products are worth the research.

It's Hannah Wagner aka Hannah Minx, but this is before she started her youtube channel when she would post on smoking fetish kingdom as "LaMinxette". In this time period was a little bit more voluptuous. Slightly bigger breasts, rounder face, etc. Much sexier.
I've made a thread here
