this. you've gotta work out the motives behind the slutting to weed out cheaters. I have plenty of slut friends (male and female) that just liked sex but rarely found anyone compatible to settle down and were otherwise loyal. I also have much less slutty friends who cheated in every relationship they've been in.

Fortunately, this is pretty easy to figure out, even if you don't know any of their exes/friends. People with poor impulse control also tend to be shitty but compulsive liars.
