This one guy who hardly spoke English bought a Luigi plush holding a one-up mushroom for his annoying shit of a kid. 5 minutes later he's back asking for his money back because Luigi has a tear in his armpit and the mushroom is detached from his hands. I know his kid did it because I wouldn't sell the damn thing if it was broken. I should also mention that on top of not speaking English, he hardly spoke above a whisper. With his whisper, he demanded a refund, which I was reluctant to give him. He tried to threaten me by saying he'd call the police, but his accent and inaudible voice made it funny... so I guess I haven't been threatened.

One day this qt hostess girl at the front door calls me out of the back to help her deal with a drunk customer waiting for his ride and my manager comes with me (manager is this girl's dad's best friend). There was once this pajeet whos vegetarian and asked me what on the menu is vegetarian (the menu clearly stated which dishes were vegetarian); I recommended the salad as the safest option.

Can't trust em to count their own, cuz they almost always try to get over (especially bums & people who collect off the street). Those that are simply returning what they purchased (and using it to buy other stuff) are okay, but they can just as bad as the bums & street collectors.

I wouldn't call em all garbage though, cuz to some are understandable & knows what's going on. Plus that little bit of money from recyclables sometimes are a person's only money. Back in 2014, when shoplifting sort of became a fad to brag about on the internet, I decided to go browse the "lifting" search term on tumblr and holy shit, the things girls would steal.

I just started a retail job, my first one. It's giving me these really strange dreams. I started two days ago, and for the past two nights I've had the same nightmare where I'm stuck at the register for an infinite amount of time even though my shift is over. People keep coming up, and I have to keep checking them out or else I'll be fired. I understand it's a dream in some sense, but I can't escape. It feels like it lasts at least an hour each time, and occurs throughout the night.

It is weird, though. Feels like I'm fucking up tremendously at all times, but I guess that's normal when dealing with money.

I'm graduating late because I've taken a few semesters off to travel. After a year-long and well-paid stint in logistics, I'm back to part-time while I wrap up what's left of my degree. When I came back to the United States from South Asia in December, I sat around on my ass for a few months and began sending out applications. Within two weeks, I had two jobs and was bending over under a deluge of phone calls from interested employers.

Given, I was over-qualified for almost everything I applied for, but I had an easy enough time when I was fresh out of high school, too.

Not sure what to tell you; maybe there are just no jobs where you live.

Do you have a good resume and whatnot? Even if you have shit-all for experience, you should be able to tailor what little you've done into an entry-level CV.

My favorite thing about making pizzas is when customers can't fathom a medium and a large pizza are cut into the same number of slices. I've had so many people get shitty with me because they think I'm just like, lying to them for some reason.
Also when they order "hamburger" on their pizza, and when I read it back to them as ground beef they correct me and say "NO I want hamburger meat!"

Why do people have to be so rude to me for things that aren't my fault? How can people be so mean to someone who is only greets them with a smile and is polite? Sometimes it really gets to me. This all happened today and I'm feeling pretty depressed because of it.
