hmm that brought me to a good idea, buy a cheapo smartwatch with a heartbeat monitor and write a small program so when it measures near zero it triggers a package of thermite placed above the hdds. would b pretty cool i imagine

i have thought about it. i was going to trade in all of my video games stuff to get money for it and eat all of my favorite places to eat, taco bell, burger kind, sliders, i almost died and my friends moved. there is no point in getting rid of my games. i gave my mom a verbal to give my stuff to my brother.

Its bad enough to your friends and family that you died, why would you want them to be confused and conflicted and overwhelmed by dealing with your stuff. And it would suck for anyone's mother to find out their child was a sick fuck with weird fetishes. Its not like she would be okay with your death suddenly cuz she found a cp stash or scat porn or her underwear or something. It would just tarnish their memories of you. You're a bad person if you don't give a fuck about who you're leaving behind. obviously i don't care to live, i don't see the point of doing a damned thing about my belongings. burn them all, fuck it, who cares.

I know that my parents will comb through my room after I'm gone so I've done some spring cleaning to dispose of not just gross trash but also anything embarrassing. When the time is a little closer I'll do a second sweep to remove most of what's remaining. It becomes very easy to throw stuff away as trash after you've decided to kill yourself. It's not like you'll ever be able to use it when you're dead anyway, right?

Obviously I'm going to nuke my PC, probably the night before I kill myself. Or maybe I'll do it a week beforehand and just run a skeleton build with nothing bad on it so I can still use my old friend near the end.

Recently as the date approaches I've been trying to scrape together some savings so that I can enjoy my last day a little better. Enough to pay for my fill of good alcohol and good food one time, something like $200 would do it. I'm planning for when my parents both leave on a 2-weeks trip so I'll have a nice peaceful house to myself that I can enjoy and not have to worry about being discovered and revived. It'll make a mess and some bad memories when they find me but they're planning on selling the place soon anyway.

When my last remaining grandparent died I was already an adult and old enough that nobody bothered to hide any of the ugliness from me any more. The whole family came together to claim any possessions they wanted (furniture, firearms, cookery, etc) and pick through the house in close detail. Looking through everything from family photos to diaries to decades old tax records, the inside and undersides of every drawer and cupboard, every box, everything. People have no more respect for your privacy after you're dead and they'll satisfy their curiosity as much as they want.

I understand not caring what they learn when you're dead, but I also understand wanting to take steps and limit that. Choice is one of the biggest advantages to suicide. Not only how and when you kill yourself, but the whole circumstances surrounding your death.
