Plenty of anons in this thread claim things like holding grudges to be petty and such. Such bullshit, only you can measure and decide the damage the other person who wronged you has done. I personally believe that you should try to cause more damage to the other than he has done to you because 1. you can justify it because punishment should be more severe than the wrongdoing and 2. it's more satisfying. Obviously you shouldn't do this through criminal actions, revealing him to be a drug dealer / user to authorities and if found guilty, to all his friends and colleagues to increase the damage done to his reputation, career etc.

Doing this after a long time has passed since the wrongdoing is also good since it reduces any links to you and makes him feel less like he has deserved it to him, since he has likely forgotten about it or doesn't think much about it anymore. I have a list of names of people who have fucked me over, dates when, how and based on that it's easy to look them up in the future (many years since the incidents) and look up a way to cause harm to them, not criminally naturally.
