Nah mate, if you have money, is easy to look good.
Money to pay someone to teach about the clothing that looks better on you, money to pay for personal trainers, money to pay for skin care shit, etc etc etc

Selective breeding. When you/your family is rich, you have a choice of females. So you pick the more attractive ones, and then those bear attractive children. The children may be dumber, if the rich guy picked a trophy bimbo, so they'll squander the family fortune but for a little while your wealthy dynasty will be pretty.

Also, it's easier for a good-looking man to get rich in the first place. People treat you better and are willing to help you more so you can move up in your career much faster than an ugly person.
