Saw the original movie less than a year ago.

The shit seems really pretentious at times.

Honestly feel like it was a bunch of "What does it mean to exist" and "life is a meme" pseudo-philosophical nonsense

Often when trying to watch GitS, the words are just too much. I understand every word, and know the meaning of those words, but my brain cant piece together what's being said fast enough in order to keep up with the plot

New movie was eh. Visually it were pretty good, FX on point. Plot was fucking terrible though. They mostly stuck with the first movie but pulled random shit in from the whole series then mashed it all together and made it nothing but backstory. They should have just stuck to the original plot of the first movie and not made the hacking stuff so cringeworthy, then it would have been a 10/10. Going to rewatch 2.0 now because fuck hollywood.
