Have you ever noticed the phenomenon of women who did really well at school, but are still dumb? It's because women get through school by "crowd-studying". They all join huge study groups in which a handful of diligent women and beta orbiters pass along knowledge to the roasties.

Aside from that, I think women actually take school in itself very seriously, whereas men just see it as a step toward their career. Women got hit particularly hard by the humanities degree meme and universities are desperate to push them into STEM.
