Depression isn't feeling sad, it's being unable to feel anything at all.


It's hard to pinpoint it because it's not like physical injuries or conditions. You can tell if your arm is broken or if your toenail is ingrown or whatever else, but it's incredibly vague with mental afflictions.


It's also easy to mix it up with seasonal affective disorder. If you don't feel better with direct sunlight & exercise then it's probably depression.
