What board has the most pretentious cunts?
>I'd say /fa/
/lit/, /sci/ and /pol/
but /pol/ is a different kind of pretentious
>>35956512
/lit/ isn't bad, same with /sci/
/mu/ is by far the worst, EXTREMELY elitest about having very entry level taste. its funny really
>>35956750
You're going to be made fun of for having the tastes of a non-music listener on a music board
I bet you have fucking terrible taste lmao
>>35956512
I wouldn't mind pol so much if it's ideologies didn't leak into this board. The majority of robots are trump supporters to an obnoxious degree.
>>35956486
/fa/ /mu/ are insufferable.
They even think their shit is good.
/lit/ gets a pass because their pretense is usually "backed up" with pseudo-intellecutalism
>>35956486
/s4s/ won't tell me how to fortune
pretentious faggots: /mu/ and /lit/
tryhard "alphas": /fit/ and /pol/
>>35959098
I hate those dicks.
I wish I was mentally retarded.
>>35959116
At least they're trying. rigidininal
>>35959394
yeah, on an anonymous internet forum
>>35959446
What's your point though?
>>35959478
it's obnoxious
>>35959509
We're discussing pretentiousness, anon.
/po/, by a longshot
All of the anime boards, LGBT and MLP should be rounded up, shot and buried in shallow mass graves. /mu/ is full of people who legitimately enjoy music that isn't fucking good, shit like neutral milk hotel and interpol is their idea of fire.
/r9k/ has equal portions of retarded whiney faggots who think girls are too mean and people trolling them with much success on a daily basis, the green text and some memes are always redeeming on r9k.
/X/ is solidly like 40% people who actually think magic is real...
There's a lot of dumb shit on 4chan but yea anything like a fashion board or a board about an objectively stupid topic like /soc/ is bound to be the most cancerous
>>35959588
Interpol is good you fucking tard
/mu/ definitely.
>>35959598
This is what I mean, you'd love /mu/ because interpol is unremarkable garbage from the 90s that isn't original or even unique and you are willing to say it's good just because I said it sucks
>>35959588
/lgbt/ and /mlp/ are containment boards. They exist to keep their faggotry out of other boards.
And yet the faggots still come here. Should be banned on site like MLP.
>>35959654
Turn on the bright lights is my favorite album ever, and also my most listened to album so no I'm not just saying it because you said it sucks. I also don't go on /mu/
>>35959585
>/po/
>Pffft. You don't wet fold?
>What a pleb
>Why don't you go back to making cranes?
>>35959681
In my opinion that album has two okay songs on it that I would only listen to if they came on the radio and there was nothing else on.
Interpol just isn't good, it's not popular for a reason, it just has a lot of appeal to a small and vocal minority of aspies which is the only reason it hasn't faded into Oblivion like slint and all those 90s indie rock bands
>>35959738
>In my opinion that album has two okay songs on it that I would only listen to if they came on the radio and there was nothing else on.
your opinion is retarded and wrong. the album doesn't have a weak song on it. it's amazing from beginning to end
>>35959588
/soc/, /mlp/, /pol/ aren't even in the pool. Might as well judge /s4s/ and /b/, they are containment boards and they are good for that reason.
also /mu/ is good the problem is they don't really listen to a lot of music outside their "/mu/-core" artists and genres
they just have an idea of what's hip and they don't stray away from discussing albums outside of that idea
which is totally natural considering music is so personal. It's not a terrible board, it's just kind of juvenile.
>>35959769
I'm telling you right now, there isn't anything wrong with having autism but when you have high functioning autism it's important to understand your affliction to better help you learn your triggers and practice safe coping mechanisms
>>35959775
>also /mu/ is good the problem is they don't really listen to a lot of music outside their "/mu/-core" artists and genres
>they just have an idea of what's hip and they don't stray away from discussing albums outside of that idea
>which is totally natural considering music is so personal. It's not a terrible board, it's just kind of juvenile.
None of them have any musical talent either or deeper understanding of music.
They don't actually care about music. They care about creating a fake culture about music.
/lit/ is fucking obnoxious.
The entire board seems comprised of teenage boys who can't wrap their heads around the notion of reading for pleasure. If you're not trying to memorize Nietzsche or Hume, you have entry-level tastes and need to start with Plato.
>>35959769
>your opinion ... wrong
and yours is discarded
go listen to your whiney post emo garbage
>>35959838
That's just recreational readers trolling you because they can tell you don't actually read
>>35959860
I read plenty but rarely post on /lit/.
Whenever I open up a thread there, it's the same garbage I described.
>blabbering about philosophy
>yadda-yadda-ing about blabber
>sputtering blabber about yadda-yadda
>overly verbose writing
>>35959899
I love reading too but somewhere along the lines I assumed /lit/ isn't really the place to go to talk about books thus I've never been there.
>>35959681
>Turn on the bright lights is my favorite album ever
And here I thought y'all just listened to video game and weeb shit. Good taste anon.
/mu/ is full of music snobs and fake intellectuals
>>35959930
Wow two autistic virgins in one thread on /r9k/ how did this happen?!
/mu/ pisses me off the most because music is the absolute most subjective art form, followed by porn.
another vote for /mu.
seriously fuck that board.
absolute faggots.
>>35959989
Is something wrong anon? Do you need to talk?
/a/ is bad for this, so are /mu/, /lit/, /pol/ and to a lesser extent /v/ and /vr/
>/pol/, /v/, /a/, /mu/, /soc/, /vg/, /wsg/, /biz/
>>35959588
>/mu/ is full of people who legitimately enjoy music that isn't fucking good, shit like neutral milk hotel and interpol is their idea of fire.
Are you retarded or are you a blockhead who cant appreaciate to anything with an open mind?
>>35960657
Having an open mind doesn't make things good.
/fa/ is awful but theres good discussion sometimes i guess
I think if you like music /mu/ isn't that bad. A lot of the artists they discuss are good, but there's also a lot of shitty music that's discussed as well. It's a matter of filtering out the shit you don't like. Also just because the majority of them shit on bands like, I don't know, Rage Against The Machine or SOAD for example, doesn't mean you can't have a discussion there about them.
>>35961194
I love music, /mu/ is just plain shit. A complete waste of time to find the good bands on there.
>>35960459
I fucking hate /mu/
I think we've established that /mu/ is the most hated board.
Now lets flip it.
>What is your favorite board?
>hardmode: that you don't frequent
>>35961357
>Favorite board
/r9k/
>That you don't frequent
/his/
>>35961357
My favorite boards that I don't visit are /c/ and /an/
They seem nice.
>>35961357
>/diy/
They're always doing cool shit and everyone knows what they're talking about.
10/10 bantz too.
>>35961357
>favorite board
/k/
>hardmode
probably /r/
>>35961433
I love their banner from the banner contest
I lose my shit everytime I see it
>>35961494
Which banner? I have them turned off.
