Maybe if it's voluntary (I.e you had opportunities and turn down sex on principle). If you're a virgin only because you just can't laid though, it's definitely not.

In a culture that values family and chastity that would be true.
But in our culture where short term relationships are normal and not having premarital sex is weird, being a virgin means is that your sexual market values is so low, you couldn't have found even one person to have sex with you. Therefore there must be something extremely wrong with you.

Instead of wallowing in the abyss of nihilism, the question that I ask myself is, why not go through it?

Instead we should delve deeper into the abyss of negation, this nothingness. The only way beyond nihilism is through nihilism.

Modern nihilism embraces a relative nothingness--tearing down constructed institutions like god and the state, etc. It's privative and predicated on the absence of being. There is no god there, the state is just a concept for control, etc.

This concept of beyond nihilism is an absolute nothingness, which is purely negative, a paradoxical foundation of non-being.

This absolute nothingness is present everywhere in everything. Think about a piece of matter, where did it begin? Particles within particles and even smaller particles within those particles. It's an endless cosmic sky of infinity. It could be god, but it could be something entirely unknown and unknowable.

It's simply something other.

What would this dimension beyond dimensions look like? Passing from relative to absolute nihilism would be akin to passing between our reality and another dimension--everything and everyone is rendered faceless, nameless, unnameable and unknowable.

Self and world in such a place are not only groundless but indistinct as well.
