why is /ck/ filled with alcoholics?

Alcohol is also a gustatory pleasure, and is often culturally paired with food.
Due to the nature of their jobs, many people in foodservice, from the burger flippers to the high-end chefs, get out of work at an obscenely late hour, if they wish to go somewhere they kind of have to go to a bar after work.
