I am fairly tall, athletic and strong. I have always had a big insecurity about being weak, or cowardly, or submissive. That is partly the reason I went to the gym and done martial arts.

And yet I realise I am 100% the mouse. I have done all of these actions. I have sometimes not stood up for myself in school, and it brings me shame, still. I think about times when I've looked cowardly or weak at night. In social interactions I become very stressed out and autistic if someone in the group doesn't like me and it makes me almost instinctively look down at my phone like a wimp.

God fucking damnit!

It's all because I've grew up in a dysfunctional AF household, the family abused my mother, it ruined me during my formative years and even though it was all over when I was like 4 it stuck with me for the rest of my life, including the nervous ticking.
