Those were the moments hat really got to me. Pam is my least favorite character in any TV show every. She spends literally the entire show stringing Jim along doing whatever she wants and as soon as he tries to follow his dreams and puts her on the back burner for ONE FUCKING SECOND she starts trying to get with the boom guy. I actually liked most of the characters. Michael, Dwight, Andy, Kevin and Creed were the most outrageously funny, but I also liked the subtler humour of the rest of the cast.

I loved Jim for his pranks, but I also find it disproportionately funny when he just casually toyed with people or just noped at whatever nonsensical shit was happening.

I liked how they eventually decided to make Pam comically lame and boring, it really boosted her character. Any time anyone was gratuitously cruel to Toby and Stanley being a grumpy asshole got me too, as well as Phyllis's hidden darkness/sluttiness. Erin's off-beat humour was also a great addition to the show.

It's so rare to find a show where the entire cast is hilarious in their own little ways, from Angela being the perfect caricature of the conservative cat lady to Meredith being a worn out roastie.

Also I wanted to fuck Kelly so bad. The ass was fat..

Fair points, also Corner Gas was the shit. Miss it a lot actually. The pink eye episode is legendary. They definitely knew to quit on a high note, The Office should've stopped after season 7 with Michael leaving. Season 8 was just really cringeworthy besides James Spader and season 9 was really bad.

Is it just me or is Jim kind of an asshole after they get married? I know season 9 is supposed to show a rough patch in their marriage but even in season 7 & 8 Jim acts more selfish and asshole-y. His pranks towards Dwight even get worse, like trying to steal his Christmas bonus. He was also ready to leave Dwight in Tallahassee and only turned around because Pam stopped him.

Michael Scott is literally me. I think that's why the Office resonates so much as a show in my eyes. We have the same outlook, the same approach to people, the same love of telling jokes and acting silly, the same desire to find love and raise a family, the same inability to do either, the same outer smile to hide inner pain, the same peers who flip between finding us endearing and annoying.

Michael is closer to a cyborg, he's functional enough to not be a complete outcast but not a complete normalfag who doesn't even have to try or think to do well in relationships in life. As such, he is probably alone with his feels since there is no one who can relate to him on a deeper level.
Toby is closer to a mishmash of a robot with cyborg leanings but is still pretty much a caricature rather than something genuine. He also has very little self-awareness whereas most robots are too self conscious for their own good.
