Have you ever confessed to a coworker or colleague you liked them, but they rejected you?
Surely, you've decided to remain friendly and cooperative, so that everything continues to go smoothly with whatever business or project you're both working on, but have you noticed their increased resentment towards you, the longer you act like nothing has happened between the two of you?
While that is happening, were you hoping they would quit their job or project, so you wouldn't?
