Count your calories, use one of the apps. Buy some kitchen scales and measure out your meals to the gram. Do that for 3 months until you've truly learned about calorie density. Then you can start looking at macros and whatever else.

I cold turkey quit eating so much. Lost 100 pounds. Then later on I put on lean muscle from /fit/ and manage to maintain good weight.

The best thing I did was quit soda, no fast food, started running and lifting with adequate nutrition for muscle development.

It sounds easy but it was hard to switch lifestyles when everyone in my life was a ham planet.

I'm not skinny, BUT when I first went on antipsychotics I gained 60lbs and I've lost nearly all of it.

It depends on your personality. If weed makes you a couch potato, you'll be a couch potato. Weed makes me energized and up for crazy shit which keeps me busy and active.

It's not great for just anyone, but it was a good weight-loss tool for me.
