i also enjoy the anonymity and the freedom to be myself. I get the occasional spark of motivation from some threads. this site makes me laugh. I can make people upset and not have to worry about repercussions.

I like how there's no " I have 20000 posts so I'm always right" bullshit like on other sites.

Mainly bc im a closet homosexual who wants to be able to complain without the risk of being outed. I don't even mention being gay when i post but i like the feeling of not going out of my way to hide it. Pretending to be straight is kind of exhausting bc i overthink it.

As long as you don't spend all of your time here I think you should be fine; there's good advice on here a lot from normies who spend a HEALTHY amount of time here and don't let the Internet consume their lives

I like that I can just post here with no barrier or feeling of apprehension. If I complain about my life on some other web site it'll be tied to some user account and I'll get a bunch of canned responses. Here I'll get called a loser and told to kill myself. I appreciate the honesty.

I'vew been here for 7+ hours a day every day for the past 13 years. I dont know whats "good" about this place or why I even like it. I just find it my home.

I like it how occasionally I can have an interesting conversation about topics that would never happen in person, and I can potentially relate to or give good advice if applicable.
