Commit a crime if you're a felon you can't be selected for this.

that's all the more reason to do it. the case will either be full of idiots, stupid assholes or depraved shit
All you have to do is know your rights. Just say you support jury nullification and the (((judge))) will chase you out of there before you pronounce the T in nullification.
>>35892073
what does that even mean. ill do it if it will get me excused
>>35892119
According to the US Constitution, the jury has the option to acquit the defendant by jury nullification. This is basically saying the defendant did break the law, but the law was applied unfairly, or that the law is unjust, or that the defendant did the morally right thing in breaking the law. Judges and prosecutors HATE this as it takes power from them and gives it to the people. If they know that there is even a chance that one of the jurors will use that right, they will do everything they can to make sure you are not in the jury.

should i just shout out with autistically and randomly say that i support the nullification jury and then they will ask me to leave? like that? what if i say that i havent left my house in seven months will they let me leave

if i get selected for the jury could i do some /devilish/ decision making and ruin someones life???
Is having a degree in criminal justice an excuse to get out of jury duty?
>>35892380
That should do it. You might still have to wait your turn though. When it's your turn, definitely say something about it, whether they ask you or not.
>>35892456
you could, but if you're asking on this board, you wouldn't
>>35892480
if you act like a hot-headed idealist then yeah

If you want out say you judge a book by its cover and they cant let you do it faggot jesus stop bitching and look shit up
>>35892456
Only if you can convince the rest of the jury to do the same.Realistically, criminal justice cases that go to trial usually have overwhelming evidence supporting the prosecution and the criminal is too stupid to settle on a plea bargain so sending him to prison wouldn't be that devilish.
I had jury duty recently. It involved custody and I was the only one in the room who didn't have a kid (and from what it seemed, the only person in the room who wasn't mercilessly beaten up by family) so when they asked me if that would affect my opinion, I basically told them yes and that I'm probably the only one in the room who doesn't care.
I didn't mean for it to sound like that but whatever. People snickered.

i should do it. especially if its a nignog.
>>35892812
If it's a dindu, it's even more likely that he did it and the evidence against him is overwhelming, according to this /pol/ required reading:

I had to go to jury duty yesterday after postponing twice. I got out of it by saying I am a student so now I have to do a walk in within the month. I was already going to say I am likely to use jury nullification, but I guess I will use it next time. I am a criminology minor and I still refuse to vote simply because I am being forced to come in.

I have a degree in cj but idk if that would get me out of it.

I've had jury duty twice and got out of both of them! By fucking luck!
First time I got requested for jury duty 1 week after I had moved to a new city, so I just called the court house and told them I no longer live there so I couldn't attend. No problem, jury duty cancelled.
Second time was about three months ago, I was requested for jury duty, I had to sign up online. They gave me the option to choose my own court date, I chose the earliest one to get it over with quicker, and literally the day before I had to go in for jury duty I got an email saying the court date was cancelled and my services were no longer required.
Felt fucking good reading that email! I got lucky both times.

subtly make yourself a bad jury candidate
like throw in that your friends call you "grand wizard" or something.
